A Joyful Season

Good morning friends!  I have a brand new release by Chi Chi Memories to share with you today!  This is an absolutely adorable new Digital Set called A Joyful Season.  Here is a gift set that I created using the little girl from the set.
I just love her and thought I would create a gift set for my Design Team Project.  I recently purchased the We R Memory Keepers Pillow and Bag Punch Boards and used these nifty little tools to create this set.  I colored my image with Copics and used lots of glitter.  This set turned out so cute and would be perfect for a small set of whatever you wish. I really enjoyed working with this cute and versatile set of digi images.  Be sure to check them out as well as see the wonderful projects the rest of the Design Team created.  Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Gingerbread Card

Good morning friends!  How was your Thanksgiving weekend, ours was rather quiet and restful.  No Black Friday madness for me.  I really admire the folks that brave it though.  So it is officially the holiday season. the count down begins.  I had time for a little crafting this weekend so I used the sketch from Sweet Sketch Wednesday 234 to make a card.
I used a cute Gingerbread Ornament image from Meljens Designs to make my card. I love this little Gingerbread Man.  I had some paper from American Crafts called Merrymint that I had purchased years ago at Michaels that fit this design perfectly.  Most of my other paper and supplies are from Stampin' Up!.  This card will go in my stash for someone.  I was so excited to have won 3 Digi images from Meljens Designs last week.  They have a Random selection when you enter one of their challenges.  It was so hard to pick which ones I wanted.  I love working with these.  Well I have to go and start putting up my Christmas tree, it is going to be a short season.  Thanks for stopping by and have a sweet day!

Sweet Sketch Wednesday 223

Good morning ladies!  I have been working on this card for a couple of days and got sidetracked with working the weekend and feeling like I am getting a cold.  Yuck!  Oh well finally finished it this morning just in time to enter the Sweet Sketch Wednesday 233.  Another great sketch.  I used a digi stamp from the Digi Stamp Boutique called Winter Rosie.  Just love her and will give her to my granddaughter for Christmas.
I love the pink and brown color combination.  I printed up the paper on my Cricut Imagine and wanted to use it for this card.  I colored my image with Copics and used a few Martha Stewart punches for the snowflakes and Martha glitter.
Here is the sketch.  I really enjoy following a sketch.  It is really cold and snowy here in Ohio, puts me in the mood to make Christmas cards.  Thanks so much for visiting and have a wonderful day!

Caroling Snowmen

Hi friends!  How was your weekend, mine went by in a flash.  I spent a lot of time playing with my Cricut Imagine, which I haven't used in at least a year.  There is definitely a learning curve with this machine.  I am very intrigued by it and am going to print some patterned paper when I am done with this post.  I found another great Sweet Sketch Wednesday Challenge 232 this week.  I love this one and couldn't resist.
Here is my card that I made following this sketch.
I used these adorable Caroling Snowmen by Meljen Designs.  I am entering their Challenge 186 - "In a Word" with my card.  I used Stampin' Up! paper and a few of my Spellbinder Dies.  Colored my image with Copics.  My snowflakes are a Martha Stewart Punch, they are jeweled and glittered.  Another card to add to my growing Christmas stash.  Now to make some envelopes.  Thanks for stopping by and have a sweet day!

Starlight Starbright

Hello all!  This day is going so fast, actually they all do.  I picked up some really cute new digital images this week when Sassy Cheryl posted her new images for the week.  I made a card with this really cute Starlight Starbright Snowman.  Isn't he great!
I am entering him in the Sassy Cheryl Challenge 192  "Fave Holiday Colors".  All of my paper is Stampin' Up!  I used various Martha Stewart Punches for the snowflake flower.  I glittered him up a bit, but it doesn't show up well in my photo.  Such a fun snowman!  Thanks so much for stopping by and enjoy your afternoon!

Christmas Card and a couple of Challenges

Good morning all!  I have a card to share that I finished over the weekend.  It reminds me of my granddaughter Briana so it will go to her for Christmas.  I used a Stamp Fairy digi Mimi Winter, so cute for this card.  Really fun to color.
I used Copics and Spectrum Noir markers.  My paper is mostly Stampin' Up!  I am entering her in these challenges:  Sister Act Card Challenge 32 and Winter Wonderland Challenge Blog  For a Child.  There are so many challenges out there.  I am just starting to find some fun ones to enter.  There are probably lots more to discover.

Thanks to everyone who has left such sweet comments, it means the world to me!  Thanks for stopping by today and have a sweet day!

First Holiday Card

Good morning, hope your day is going well.  Getting ready for the weekend.  I will be working but I only have a couple of more weekends to work.  I am officially retiring on December 31, 2013.  I can't wait!  It has been a short 20 years working in the health care field for me but things are changing rapidly.  anyhow here is my first holiday card.
I used the Sweet Sketch Wednesday 231 this week.  I loved working with this sketch!  The adorable image is from the sponsor Meljens Designs.  She has all of her digital images 50% off this month.  There are tons of really cute designs.  I purchased quite a few and plan on purchasing more.  My card is 6 X 6, my favorite size.  The paper is all from Stampin' Up!  I colored my image with Copics and used glitter on the snow.  I will be entering this card in Sweet Sketch Wednesday's Challenge this week.  I am really in the mood to make holiday cards now.  I have lots of cute images to work with.  Thanks so much for stopping by and have a sweet day!

Hi Pumpkin

Hi all!  Today I have a card I made with a Sassy Cheryl Digi image.  I have been wanting some of these images for a while and decided to purchase Sally's Fall Pumpkin for the Sassy Cheryl Anything Goes Challenge.  I used the above fun sketch from Sketch Saturday 283.  It is a simple sketch but I added a few embellishments to my card.

I love designing cards for the seasons, especially fall.  Such gorgeous colors.  I put all my fall papers and supplies in a basket and just keep adding to it.  Feels great to use some of my stash.  I colored Sally with my Copics and Spectrum Noir markers.  I am loving these markers, I had to purchase all the sets and they work really well with Copics.  I just love all the color choices.  Thanks for stopping by and have a sweet day!  The weather is pretty nice so I plan on some long doggie walks through the autumn leaves.  See you later!

Sweet Sketch Wednesday Challenge

Good morning, what a dreary, rainy fall morning we are having here in Ohio.  The fall leaves are beautiful though.

I decided to enter the Sweet Sketch Wednesday Challenge this week.  I liked their Sketch 230.
It is fun to have a great sketch to inspire.  I am in a fall mood so I made this card with an adorable image from the Stamp Fairy.  She is Mimi Fall time.  I just love her!
I used some Stampin' Up! Designer Series paper from a previous year.  I colored her with various Copics.  I haven't been coloring for a while so I had to reacquaint myself with that.  I used an older embossing folder, as well.  I used some crinkle ribbon that I dyed to match.  Thanks for visiting my blog and have a wonderful weekend!

Tim Holtz Inspired

Good morning!  I have been busy getting grungy with lots of Tim Holtz awesome dies and distress inks.  I love working with these.  I used Tim's Large Tag die for this tag.  The stamps used are a large set of Stamper's Anonymous "Tim Holtz Collection".  These are the Mini Halloween set.  Lots of spooky images!
Here are a couple of photos of my tag.  I have had these die cuts for a year and am finally using them.  I die cut everything from cardboard and ran the cuts through a crimper.  Gives them a nice dimension.

I love Halloween and really enjoy creating fun papercrafts to celebrate.  Thanks for stopping by, will be back with more later!

This & That

Well I spent this morning working on this blog.  It is slowly coming together.  I forgot how to do many things, it takes a great deal of patience.  There is definitely a learning curve.  I am just going to enjoy the process.

I have my Spooky Halloween Tag to show today.  I saw something similar on Pinterest and thought I would make my version of it.  I used all Tim Holtz Alterations Dies.  These are fabulous, I love them.  So easy to use with my old Sizzix machine.  Here is a photo of my tag.  I used distress paints and glitter.  I dyed and crinkled my ribbon.  This was really fun to make, love that grunge look.  Sorry my photo is so busy, I will have to work on that.

Well have a wonderful Sunday.  I have some new Stampin! Up! goodies to make Christmas cards with.   Rose

New Blog

I decided I would start blogging again.  I had a blog several years ago, I blogged about my crafty creations, enjoyed it.  I joined blog groups, design teams, entered my cards and projects in competitions, had a ball.  So I took a break and am ready to join in and share my love of crafting again.  I have named my blog "Whatever!"  I plan on sharing whatever I feel like creating.  A little of this and that.  I will be back tomorrow with something I have been working on.  I love seasonal projects and have been working on some tags.  I am so excited to be blogging again!
