Decorate to Celebrate! Challenge 68

We have another fun challenge at Decorate to Celebrate!  Lets see your Valentine Boxes or Birthday theme creation.  Please no cards or scrapbook pages.  I had a ball making my Valentine Boxes.  I used my WRMK Pillow Box Punch Board to make the boxes.  So easy with this awesome punch.  I used some Just Right All Occasion Stamps for the image on the boxes.  These are older but still nice.  I colored the image with Copics.  The Heart Shaped Box is from a SVG file.  I decorated it with ribbon and flowers, a Tim Holtz ticket.  I made the flower from another SVG file.  I hope you will join us for this two week challenge.  Make sure you stop by the blog and see the beautiful projects by the rest of the Design Team.  There are awesome prizes for the winner!
We are supposed to get a winter storm today.  I wish it would stop already.  I will be cleaning up and shoveling.  Great exercise but sure gets old.  My dogs love the snow and really enjoy running around in it.  I am ready for spring, can't wait!  Thanks for stopping by!

Decorate to Celebrate Challenge 67

Good morning friends!  It's time for another challenge on the Decorate to Celebrate Blog.  This is Challenge #67 Valentine Treat Bags or a Birthday Theme.  For my Design Team project I decided to use my We Are Memory Keepers Gift Bag Punch Board and some pretty Stampin' Up! Designer Series Paper.  I punched the trim with a new Martha Stewart awesome large border punch.  So pretty!  I think the little clothespins are K & Co.  I used various tickets, ribbon and goodies from my stash.  These were fun to make.  I hope you will join us this week and create something for your Valentine.  Make sure you stop over on the DTC Blog to see the other fun projects created by the Design Team.  You have two weeks to enter your project and win a fabulous prize!  Thanks so much for stopping by today and have a sweet day!

Decorate to Celebrate Challenge DT Project

Good morning friends!  Are you keeping warm, weather is brutal!  The challenge at Decorate to Celebrate is perfect for this frosty week.  Challenge #68-Snowman/Snowflake decoration or party supply.  No cards or layouts.  This Challenge runs for a 2 week period.  Lots of time to create something frosty to decorate your home.  For my Design Team project I used a large wooden snowflake that I gessoed and painted with Tim Holtz Distress Ink.  I stamped snowflakes all over it and added lots of chunky glitter.  I dyed Tim Holtz Seam Binding with Distress Ink and used pretty things from my stash to decorate my snowflake.  I will leave this snowflake out with my snowman collection.  Nice for January.  Make sure you visit theDecorate to Celebrate blog to see the fabulous projects made by the rest of the very talented design team.  I hope you will join us!  Thanks for stopping by and stay warm!

A Joyful Season

Good morning friends!  I have a brand new release by Chi Chi Memories to share with you today!  This is an absolutely adorable new Digital Set called A Joyful Season.  Here is a gift set that I created using the little girl from the set.
I just love her and thought I would create a gift set for my Design Team Project.  I recently purchased the We R Memory Keepers Pillow and Bag Punch Boards and used these nifty little tools to create this set.  I colored my image with Copics and used lots of glitter.  This set turned out so cute and would be perfect for a small set of whatever you wish. I really enjoyed working with this cute and versatile set of digi images.  Be sure to check them out as well as see the wonderful projects the rest of the Design Team created.  Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Gingerbread Card

Good morning friends!  How was your Thanksgiving weekend, ours was rather quiet and restful.  No Black Friday madness for me.  I really admire the folks that brave it though.  So it is officially the holiday season. the count down begins.  I had time for a little crafting this weekend so I used the sketch from Sweet Sketch Wednesday 234 to make a card.
I used a cute Gingerbread Ornament image from Meljens Designs to make my card. I love this little Gingerbread Man.  I had some paper from American Crafts called Merrymint that I had purchased years ago at Michaels that fit this design perfectly.  Most of my other paper and supplies are from Stampin' Up!.  This card will go in my stash for someone.  I was so excited to have won 3 Digi images from Meljens Designs last week.  They have a Random selection when you enter one of their challenges.  It was so hard to pick which ones I wanted.  I love working with these.  Well I have to go and start putting up my Christmas tree, it is going to be a short season.  Thanks for stopping by and have a sweet day!

Sweet Sketch Wednesday 223

Good morning ladies!  I have been working on this card for a couple of days and got sidetracked with working the weekend and feeling like I am getting a cold.  Yuck!  Oh well finally finished it this morning just in time to enter the Sweet Sketch Wednesday 233.  Another great sketch.  I used a digi stamp from the Digi Stamp Boutique called Winter Rosie.  Just love her and will give her to my granddaughter for Christmas.
I love the pink and brown color combination.  I printed up the paper on my Cricut Imagine and wanted to use it for this card.  I colored my image with Copics and used a few Martha Stewart punches for the snowflakes and Martha glitter.
Here is the sketch.  I really enjoy following a sketch.  It is really cold and snowy here in Ohio, puts me in the mood to make Christmas cards.  Thanks so much for visiting and have a wonderful day!

Caroling Snowmen

Hi friends!  How was your weekend, mine went by in a flash.  I spent a lot of time playing with my Cricut Imagine, which I haven't used in at least a year.  There is definitely a learning curve with this machine.  I am very intrigued by it and am going to print some patterned paper when I am done with this post.  I found another great Sweet Sketch Wednesday Challenge 232 this week.  I love this one and couldn't resist.
Here is my card that I made following this sketch.
I used these adorable Caroling Snowmen by Meljen Designs.  I am entering their Challenge 186 - "In a Word" with my card.  I used Stampin' Up! paper and a few of my Spellbinder Dies.  Colored my image with Copics.  My snowflakes are a Martha Stewart Punch, they are jeweled and glittered.  Another card to add to my growing Christmas stash.  Now to make some envelopes.  Thanks for stopping by and have a sweet day!
